Overview
This 2 days course offers a comprehensive theoretical and practical review of updates in hysteroscopy. Live demonstration, simulator training, hands on office hysteroscopy and live surgery done by our professors in OR will be provided to apply the contents of the theoretical part of the course.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the course, the participants are expected to have acquired knowledge of:
• Learn the basic knowledge about different parts of the instruments, distension media & various indications of hysteroscopy.
• Perform an office hysteroscopy.
• Evaluation of uterine cavity.
• Become familiar with new indications for the operative hysteroscopy.
Study Materials
The candidates will be provided with handouts, as well they will be provided with the recommended reading materials for updating their medical knowledge.
Course Layout
The course is part of the educational activities of the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Cairo University.
Course Venue
The course will be held in the VESSALKA unit, Fourth Floor new Kasr El-Aini Hospital, - Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
